Importing customers from a file

Upload customers as a CSV file in the Customers menu, Show customers, with the Import button, or through the import from another system page.

iDoklad, Fakturoid and other systems can export contacts into a spreadsheet. If you have it in Excel, save it as CSV. fakturum detects the delimiter and character encoding itself.

Columns are recognised by the names in the first row, in Czech or English, for example Name, IČO, DIČ, Street, City, Zip, Country, Email, Phone. Their order doesn’t matter. The preview shows what was loaded. A customer you already have (same IČO) is marked in the preview and not ticked.

The free plan covers 5 customers and the limit also applies to the import. For your whole address book you need a paid plan.

The old system can’t export contacts? Import the invoices first and let the app build the address book from them: when you have documents without a customer, the customer import page offers the Customers from documents button.
